The egg shape of this antique black, cast iron "tetsubin" adds to it's charming style. The "tetsubin" tea pot is used by tea lovers in Asia to make a proper cup of delicious and healthful tea. It is believed that the iron content of the pot adds to the natural benefits of the tea. The surface is covered with raised Chinese characters for luck and longevity and should be hand washed.
