Flying with beauty at breakneck speed, dragonflies are like the rock stars of the insect world; not everybody is fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of one. The dragonflies on our special line of dark blue ceramic ware, however, are just as radiant as the real thing and won't zigzag out of sight. Unglazed and laid out in a gold hue, two dragonflies anchor the design of every piece in our Dragonfly Series. Meanwhile, the spotty midnight-blue surface, akin to a star-filled sky, gleams with a sandy, matte finish. Rectangular or square, there are plates in different shapes that are appropriate for doling out a main course, a side dish, or a salad. In addition, we offer dragonfly-theme bowls for serving and/or eating rice, soup, stew, or noodles. You can also admire these aerial creatures on a matching teapot and cups. The entire collection, made in Japan, is dishwasher and microwave safe.
