This hand crafted and hand painted Kokeshi doll is dressed in a bright orange winter kimono that is decorated with a traditional grid pattern and is accented with a forest green obi, or kimono sash. Her hair is not the usual black, but a rich mahogany hue that coordinates well with the color palate and is accented with a hand painted orange bow. Each of these dolls are one of a kind, as they are carefully hand made individually by the craftsmen from solid pieces of wood. You will find the artist's name hand carved on the back of the doll, their signature is a mark of pride and authenticity. Packaged in a gift box. Made in Japan.
