Just what I needed and wanted. they are a perfect size for the table, and add a very pleasant, light fragrance to the place setting and to the sake.

First used one of these cups in Tokyo about 20 years ago and have shared the experience of drinking sake from one of these cups with friends and family since. So, when a niece was getting married recently I tried to make one of these and gave up after I couldn’t the combination of wood burning and waterproofing to work - so I bought this and am so glad I did - mostly because they work and are an excellent product. Definitely will buy again.

These are just beautiful. The wood is soft to the touch and the size is perfect. I bought these as a gift for a friend and liked them so much that I'm going to buy some for myself, as well. Highly recommended.
