As good as it gets in the US.

i bought this as a gift for my girlfriend after seeing them on a trip to Tokyo. This pot is not as high quality as some of the ones we saw in department stores around Shinjuku, but it's also much cheaper. (Tokyo pots were about 90USD) The wooden trivet and lid seem to be made from a pretty light weight wood. I'd prefer if they were made from something a little more solid. Heat from a boiling pot easily penetrates the trivet to the table, so we used a second pot holder underneath the wood. Overall she really liked the pot, and it was a good purchase. Shipping was very quick.
Pros- authentic look
- good size for single person
Cons- enamel chips around handle connection area
- Trivet doesn't block the heat enough to feel like the table surface will be safe.
