The plates are what I expected. Maybe smaller than what I thought they might be, but not because of lack of information. I love this set and they are shaped very practically

I bought these because I like the shape and smaller size. Too many dinnerware sets have HUGE plates that are more like serving platters! These are great for portion control, and mixing them with the round bowls and small square plates makes a more interesting place setting. The color and pattern is something I won't get tired of looking at, and is appealing to eat off of (not too dark, too plain, or too much design).
