Daruma doll symbolizes perseverance and will bring you good fortune.
The color white represents fortune and will be a potent force when helping the owner reach their dream or goal. This white daruma doll, like many others, also is made with a heavy round bottom making it into a roly-poly toy which when pushed down, will always come right back up. This "never give up" feature helps encourage it's owner into remembering that even when times are rough, you can always get back on your feet. Daruma dolls comes from the legend of Bodhidharma, a Buddhist priest who lost his limbs and eyelids while meditating in a cave over a period of several years. The daruma is also sold with blank eyes, which are to be painted on with black ink when a wish made has been fulfilled.
This tiny papier-mache white Daruma doll can be placed in your window, on your dresser, or even on a pen or pencil for good luck! Individually wrapped. Made in Japan.
