Healthy cooking is made easy when you have a complete Asian wok set to use in your kitchen. Pour your creations over rice or noodles, or wrap it up in a tortilla for a convenient and healthy meal.

After reading other reviews it seemed clear this was the choice for me: flat bottomed, no non-stick coatings, well built steel wok. It was a little difficult getting the sticky coating off, until i realized it has to be heated up kinda hot, then it wiped right off.
I've already used it a bunch of times and IT'S PERFECT!!! I TOTALLY LOVE USING IT. Makes me feel like a pro chef using a real wok after having struggled to do stir fry in my cast iron pan. And it arrived pretty quick after ordering.
Highly recommend!

I needed e new wok. I searched for several hours online and settled on this one. The reviews I read about the coating that comes on it, that needs to be removed before use, made me a little hesitant to purchase this wok. While it did take a little more work than I expected, until I figured out what worked. The directions say not to heat to smoking, however I found the "sticky" stuff came off with ease if you heated the wok until it just started to smoke a bit. Wiped off like butter. I had to "roll" the wok around on it's sides in order to get the coating off. Again, just until smoking and it came off very easily. If it did not have wooden handles I would have probably put it in my oven until it was just smoking. The other thing that made me a little hesitant was all of the pictures that people showed online of what their wok looked like after they removed the "sticky" stuff. Per the directions that came with it, it says it is normal for the wok to turn brown/black over time. Hey what Chinese restaurant have you been too where their wok's have not been completely black! I used it immediately after I cleaned off all the sticky stuff. It worked like a charm and cleaned very easily. I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy this wok again if I was ever in need to another one or I would buy it as a gift.
Cons- The protective coating is a bit tricky to get off, however after you oil it as directed and heat to just smoking it comes off very easily.

I purchased this wok for my wife, who loves to cook Chinese food (authentic style). She is very particular about her cookware so only the best will do and she loves this wok. I made her very happy when I surprised her with it; it really made her day because she loves cooking.

You can tell just by looking at it that it's truely a high quality and sturdy piece of cookware. We have used it about a dozen times and it still looks like new. The design, including he double handles, is excellent.
Merchant Response:Since this wok is made of carbon steel and it is not coated with anything so it will rust and unfortunately the rust will stain anything that it comes in contact with. Our suggestion is to wipe it dry after you wash it.
Pros- We have problems with it leaving stains on top of our glass top range. The stains come off but only after a LOT of scouring soap and elbow grease.

I ordered 2 of the Wok sets--both for my sons. The Woks are very high quality for the low price I paid. I know they are going to enjoy cooking with them very much. Very nice!! I also love their Web site. Lots of nice products to choose from.
