Embellish your home or business with this delicate tan noren with a famous painting by renowned Japanese artist Utamaro, famous for his wood-block printing skills (ukiyo-e). This noren displays an image of a woman dressed in a colorful kimono with cherry blossoms printed on it. She is sitting down writing with a paintbrush on a roll of paper. Utamaro's chop signature is on the right hand side of the noren. Chop signatures, which are used by many Asian artists, are carved on stones, applied on red paste and then stamped on important documents or artworks. Norens are used for home or business decor, and are usually hung up on doorways, windows and walls. This noren is 65% Rayon and 35% Polyester and is package neatly in plastic wrapping. Dry clean only. Made in Japan.
