Rings of orange, red and yellow lacquer circle around the black lacquered chopsticks. The different colors put the different sections of perfect blue abalone shells on full display. The tops of these rounded chopsticks are painted black and taper into points. This set is heavier than most sets and is smooth in texture, though different consistencies are noticeable. The design stops two inches from the base to ensure the life of the ornate set. Made in Japan. Ships in individual plastic pouch. Hand wash only.
