First of all, it took 11 days to ship from west to east coast (shipped 4/13/arrived 4/24). That said,bowls were wrapped beautifully without using excess packing material. They were lovely with bright colors. The product is high quality. One thing to consider though—-I had initially bought these bowls from an Amazon vendor..I wanted to order more and Mrs. Lin’s were cheaper. ..Mrs. Lin’s bowls were a bit more blue and somewhat smaller in size— so my 2 sets are slightly different. I never considered that different suppliers may have slightly different products. Live and learn!

In regards to the color and shade of your Cherry Blossom bowl set. Several Japanese manufacturers actually produce this line of tableware thus the variation Therefore it is better to purchase from the same vendor if you need to replenish any tableware. Hope this help.
